W.R. Grace: Judge expects to issue confirmation ruling in January

Pittsburgh, Dec. 29 - W. R. Grace & Co. said judge Judith K. Fitzgerald indicated at a recent status conference that she expects to issue a ruling on confirmation of the company's plan of reorganization in January.
According to a company news release, Fitzgerald had previously said she was hoping to issue the ruling before the end of the year.
W.R. Grace, a Columbia, Md.-based specialty chemicals company, filed for bankruptcy on April 2, 2001 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 01-01139.
