S&P adds nine issues to S&P U.S. Preferred Stock index, removes 14

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 2 – S&P Dow Jones Indices announced changes to the S&P U.S. Preferred Stock index.

In its October rebalancing, the company added

• The depositary shares representing 1/1000th 6% series V non-cumulative perpetual preferred shares of Wells Fargo & Co.;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th 6.15% series BB non-cumulative preferred shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co.;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th 6.2% series F non-cumulative perpetual preferred shares of Capital One Financial Corp.;

• The series J cumulative trust preferred securities of SCE Trust IV;

• The 6.35% series I cumulative redeemable preferred securities of Digital Realty Trust IV;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th 6% series C non-cumulative preferred shares of Charles Schwab Corp.;

• The depositary shares representing 1/10th 5.25% series A mandatorily convertible cumulative preferred shares of Stericycle Inc.;

• The series A mandatorily convertible cumulative preferred shares of WPX Energy Inc.; and

• The series D non-cumulative perpetual preferred securities of Wintrust Financial Corp.

S&P also deleted the following issues from the index:

• The series A 5.25% convertible preferred shares of American Tower Corp.;

• The series A 6.75% non-cumulative preferred shares of AmTrust Financial Services Inc.;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th 7.25% series B non-cumulative preferred shares of AmTrust Financial Services Inc.;

• The series B 7.875% cumulative redeemable preferred shares of Armour Residential REIT Inc.;

• The depositary shares representing 1/1200th series 2 floating rate non-cumulative preferred shares of Bank of America Corp.;

• The series A 5.75% mandatorily convertible preferred shares of Intelsat AS;

• The series A cumulative redeemable preferred shares of Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc.;

• The series D 8.5% cumulative redeemable preferred shares of Northstar Realty Finance Corp.;

• The 6% 2012-1.9.42 subordinated debentures of Protective Life Corp.;

• The series G 6.625% cumulative redeemable preferred shares of Vornado Realty Trust;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th series E 7% rate non-cumulative perpetual preferred shares of First Republic Bank;

• The series F 6.625% cumulative redeemable preferred shares of EPR Properties;

• The depositary shares representing 1/40th series A 7% mandatorily convertible preferred shares of Cliffs Natural Resources Inc.; and

• The series D 85% cumulative preferred shares of Magnum Hunter Resources Corp.
