Moody's: Worthington outlook negative

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook for Worthington Industries, Inc. to negative from stable as a result of the ongoing contraction of the construction and automotive markets.

While Worthington's liquidity is ample and its leverage modest, the negative outlook recognizes that the current economic downturn is likely to be deeper and longer than most recessions, the agency said.
