Fitch affirms Wisconsin Energy

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the ratings of Wisconsin Energy Corp. and its subsidiaries Wisconsin Electric Power Co., Wisconsin Gas Co., Wisconsin Energy Capital Corp. and Elm Road Generating Supercritical Station LLC.

The outlook is stable.

Wisconsin Energy's issuer default rating was affirmed at A-, senior unsecured debt rating at A-, junior subordinated debentures at BBB and short-term issuer default rating and commercial paper rating at F2.

Wisconsin Energy Capital's issuer default rating was affirmed at A- and senior unsecured debt rating at A-.

Wisconsin Electric Power's issuer default rating was affirmed at A, senior unsecured debt rating at A+, preferred stock rating at A- and short-term issuer default rating and commercial paper rating at F1.

Wisconsin Gas' issuer default rating was affirmed at A, senior unsecured debt rating at A+, short-term issuer default rating and commercial-paper rating at F1.

Elm Road's issuer default rating was affirmed at A and senior unsecured debt rating at A+.

The ratings reflect the company's stable and predictable cash flows of its regulated subsidiaries, Wisconsin Electric and Wisconsin Gas, Fitch said.

The ratings also consider its continued strong liquidity position and modestly improving economic environment in the utilities' service territories, the agency said.
