Fitch changes Argentine financials to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlooks on the long-term issuer default ratings for certain Argentine financial institutions to positive from stable following the Nov. 7 revision of the outlook on Argentina's sovereign rating.

The entities affected are: Banco Santander Rio SA, BBVA Banco Frances SA, Banco Macro SA, Banco Supervielle SA and Tarjeta Naranja SA.

At the same time, Fitch affirmed the foreign and local currency issuer default ratings of Banco Hipotecario SA with a stable outlook.

Fitch said the actions were exclusively driven by the sovereign outlook revision.
