Winn-Dixie U.S. Trustee adds member to unsecured creditors committee

Pittsburgh, March 28 - Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.'s Chapter 11 U.S. Trustee added Vikas Tandon of Lonestar Partners LLP to the company's official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Lonestar Partners is located in San Francisco.

The other committee members are S. Berg of Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas, New York; New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc., New York; Sandra Schirmang of Kraft Foods Global, Inc., Northfield, Ill.; Scott Johnson of Pepsico & Subsidiaries, Plano, Texas; Ellen Carr of Capital Research & Management Co., Los Angeles; and Michael Diaz of indenture trustee Wilmington Trust Co., Wilmington, Del.

Winn-Dixie, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based supermarket company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 21, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and has moved its case to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-11063.
