By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., Oct. 13 - Winn-Dixie Stores Inc.'s plan of reorganization was taken under advisement by judge Jerry A. Funk of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida following a Friday hearing on the plan, according to an attorney for Winn-Dixie.

Winn-Dixie's creditors have voted to accept the company's plan of reorganization, according to a Monday filing with the court.

Winn-Dixie, a Jacksonville, Fla., supermarket company, filed for Chapter 11 on Feb. 21, 2005 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The case was later transferred to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-03817.
