Winn-Dixie's stock to trade on Pink Sheets

Houston, Feb. 23 - Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. said that its common stock will trade under the ticker symbol WNDXQ on the Pink Sheets Electronic Quotation Service.

As previously announced, the New York Stock Exchange has suspended trading of Winn-Dixie's common stock and intends to initiate proceedings to delist the securities as a result of the company's filing for Chapter 11.

Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., is one of the nation's largest food retailers. It filed for Chapter 11 on Feb. 21. Its case number is 05-11063.
