Company sells units at C$0.35, along with one-year C$0.46 warrants

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 28 - Wind River Energy Corp. said it settled a non-brokered private placement of units. The deal priced for C$3 million on Feb. 4 and raised C$3.3 million.
The company sold 9,428,571 units of one common share and one warrant at C$0.35 per unit, with each one-year warrant exercisable at C$0.46. The strike price reflects an 8% discount to the Feb. 3 closing share price of C$0.50.
Proceeds will be used for operations, including efforts to negotiate and acquire leases in the area covered by the Milagro project asset acquisition, and for general working capital.
