Moody's rates Williamstown bonds Aa1/VMIG1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa1/VMIG1 rating to the $50 million variable-rate 2008 series A Kentucky League of Cities Funding Trust lease program revenue bonds issued by the city of Williamstown, Ky.

The sale date was July 10.

The rating is based on a letter of credit provided by U.S. Bank NA, which Moody's rates Aa1 for long-term debt obligations and P-1 for short-term debt obligations.
