Moody's rates Williams Partners notes Ba3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned first-time ratings to Williams Partners LP, including a Ba3 corporate family rating and a Ba3 senior unsecured rating to the company's new $150 million notes issue.

Moody's also assigned a speculative grade liquidity rating of SGL-3.

The outlook is stable.

Williams Partners' Ba3 corporate family rating considers its lower leverage and conservative financial policies. The company is conservatively capitalized at present and Moody's expects Williams, as the general partner, will maintain these conservative financial policies.
