S&P rates Williams Cos. notes BBB
S&P said it rated the Williams Cos. Inc.’s planned senior unsecured notes BBB.
The rating is in line with S&P’s other ratings on the issuer’s senior unsecured notes.
The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include repaying its outstanding commercial paper or other near-term debt maturities.
The outlook is stable.
