S&P gives Williams notes BBB
S&P said it gave its BBB issue-level rating to the Williams Cos. Inc.'s expected senior unsecured notes.
The agency affirmed Williams’ BBB ratings on Jan. 12.
The company intends to use the proceeds to prefund the repayment of its $1.25 billion of 3.6% notes due in 2022 and for general corporate purposes.
The outlook is stable.
