Community College District No. 512, Ill., to sell $153.6 million G.O.s for Harper College

New York, Jan. 15 - The Community College District No. 512 for the Counties of Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry and the state of Illinois plans to price $153.6 million in series 2009A general obligation bonds for William Rainey Harper College, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (Aaa) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. and Banc of America Securities LLC as the senior managers.

The bonds are due 2009 to 2028.

Proceeds will be used to build and improve community college buildings throughout the district, as well as to improve and equip land for community college purposes.
