Wichita, Kan., organizes $83.92 million offering of health care bonds

New York, June 10 - The City of Wichita, Kan., plans to sell $83,915,000 of series 2013 health care facilities revenue bonds for Presbyterian Manors Inc., according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds will be sold through senior manager Ziegler Capital Markets Inc.

The deal includes $76.79 million of series 2013-IV-A bonds and $7,125,000 of series 2013-IV-B taxable bonds.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to construct, equip, remodel and improve certain assisted living facilities operated by the corporation, as well as to refund the city's series 2004 revenue bonds issued for the corporation.
