Wichita, Kan., plans $75 million revenue bonds for Via Christi Health

New York, Sept. 9 - The city of Wichita in Kansas is set to price $75 million in series 2009 III-A hospital facilities refunding and improvement revenue bonds, according to a preliminary official statement. The bonds will be sold for Via Christi Health System, Inc.

The bonds (/A+/A+) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. as the lead manager.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to finance or refinance improvements to hospital facilities operated by the health system.
