Whirlpool eyes $600 million senior notes offer in three-, 10.5-year tranches; pricing Thursday

Virginia Beach, Oct. 30 – Whirlpool Corp. is planning to sell a $600 million two-tranche offering of senior notes on Thursday in three- and 10.5-year tranches, according to a market source and a 424B3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bookrunners are Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used to repay commercial paper borrowings,
