Westinghouse Solar files $20 million shelf for stock, preferreds, debt

Knoxville, Tenn., March 20 - Westinghouse Solar, Inc. filed a $20 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants.
The securities may be structured as convertibles.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Westinghouse Solar, based in Campbell, Calif., is a designer and manufacturer of solar power systems and solar panels with integrated microinverters.
