Moody’s ups Western Energy, notes

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded Western Energy Services Corp.'s corporate family rating to B1 from B2, probability of default rating to B1-PD from B2-PD and the senior unsecured notes rating to B2 from B3.

The speculative grade liquidity rating was changed to SGL-2 from SGL-3.

The outlook remains stable.

"The upgrade to B1 reflects Western's increased size, solid track record, and maintenance of low leverage while growing the business," Moody's analyst Paresh Chari said in a news release.
