Western Asset Emerging Markets Debt Fund adds portfolio manager Leech

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 24 - Legg Mason Partners Income Trust announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has added S. Kenneth Leech to the portfolio management team of the Western Asset Emerging Markets Debt Fund.

Leech will join existing portfolio managers Stephen A. Walsh, Keith J. Gardner, Matthew C. Duda, Gordon S. Brown and Robert O. Abad in May.

Baltimore-based Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, LLC is the investment adviser to the fund.
