Moody's assigns A2 to W. Contra Costa school bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to West Contra Costa Unified School District, Calif.'s approximately $120 million offering of general obligation bonds, election of 2005, series B.

The district expects to sell $120 million of the series B bonds on July 1.

Proceeds will be used primarily for renovation of existing school sites.
