Wentworth Energy secures interest payment waiver

Pittsburgh, Nov. 4 - Wentworth Energy, Inc. entered into a waiver and deferral period with investors on a quarterly notes interest payment due Oct. 1, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Under the agreement, the interest payment requirement was waived, provided that the company makes an interest payment to the investors on Jan. 1.

Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Wentworth is an oil and natural gas exploration and development company focused on projects in the Gulf Coast and eastern Texas.
