Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 7 - Welton Energy Corp. wrapped a C$1.53 million private placement of stock. The deal priced for C$1.5 million on Nov. 20 and was amended on Nov. 29.
The company sold 2,247,399 flow-through shares at C$0.68 apiece, down from the initial price of C$0.79 when the offering priced.
The placement has been fully subscribed, the release said. Settlement was Dec. 7.
Northern Securities Inc. was the underwriter.
Welton is an oil and gas exploration and development company based in Calgary, Alta.
