Wells Fargo plans access securities on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Madison, Wis., Feb. 21 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% access securities due April 5, 2013 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus a contingent fixed return of 15% to 19%. The exact fixed return will be set at pricing.

If the index falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.

If the index falls by more than 20%, investors will be fully exposed to the decline from the initial level.

The notes (Cusip: 94986RHP9) are expected to price Feb. 29 and settle March 5.
