WellPoint completes Sept. 11 redemption of all 5.25% notes due 2016

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 12 – WellPoint, Inc. redeemed all of its 5.25% notes due 2016, according to a notice.

The notes were redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Sept. 11.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee and paying agent.

The health benefits company is based in Indianapolis.
