Argentina's Banco Macro to buy back $18 million of 10¾% notes issued under MTN program

Chicago, May 11 - Banco Macro SA plans to repurchase and cancel $18 million of its 10¾% series 3 notes due 2012, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes were issued under the bank's $700 million global medium-term note program.

Banco Macro is a retail and commercial bank based in Buenos Aires.
