Argentina's Banco Macro cancels $9.5 million of 8½% fixed-rate notes

Pittsburgh, March 18 - Banco Macro SA cancelled $9.5 million of its 8½% fixed-rate notes due 2017, series 2, according to a 6-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes were issued under Banco Macro's $700 million global medium-term notes program.

Banco Macro is a Buenos Aires-based retail and commercial bank.
