Wave Systems registers $30 million shelf to issue preferreds, warrants

Chicago, June 21 - Wave Systems Corp. filed a $30 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers class A common stock, preferred stock, warrants and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Wave Systems is a Lee, Mass., maker of hardware and software-based digital security products for computers.
