New Issue: Panama's Bladex sells $400 million 3¾% notes due 2017 at Treasuries plus 287.5 bps

Columbus, Ohio, March 29 - Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior SA (Bladex) (Baa2/BBB/BBB) priced an upsized $400 million issue of 3¾% five-year senior notes at Treasuries plus 287.5 basis points on Wednesday, according to a syndicate source.

The notes priced on top of talk, which was tightened from initial guidance of Treasuries plus 312.5 bps for a $250 million issue of notes.

The notes priced at 99.271 to yield 3.912%.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse were the bookrunners for the Panama City-based bank's Regulation S deal.
