New Issue: Panama’s Bladex sells Ps. 4 billion Cebures in two tranches

Lexington, Ky., July 20 – Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, SA (Bladex) announced its new issuance of certificados bursatiles (AAA/AAA) in the Mexican capital markets totaling Ps. 4 billion, according to a press release.

The notes were issued in a dual-tranche structure.

Tranche one, totaling Ps. 2.5 billion, has a tenor of three years with a floating coupon of 28-day TIIE plus 45 basis points.

Tranche two, totaling Ps. 1.5 billion, has a five-year tenor with a coupon rate of M-Bono plus 85 bps.

The arrangers were Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer, SA de CV, Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer and Casa de Bolsa Santander, SA de CV, Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico.

The transaction was subscribed by a diversified investor base, including pension funds, insurance companies and asset managers, the company noted.

Bladex is a multinational bank with headquarters in Panama and offices in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the United States and a representative license in Peru.
