New Issue: Panama’s Bladex sells Ps. 5.49 billion Cebures in two tranches

Lexington, Ky., Aug. 30 – Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior, SA (Bladex) announced its new issuance of certificados bursatiles (Cebures) in the Mexican capital markets for Ps. 5,493,000,000 according to a press release.

The notes (mmAAA/AAA (mex)) were issued in a dual-tranche structure.

Tranche one has a tenor of 3.5 years with a floating coupon of 28-day TIIE plus 29 basis points.

Tranche two has a five-year tenor with a coupon rate of Bonos plus 70 bps.

The transaction was subscribed by a diversified investor base, including pension funds, insurance companies, investment companies, private banks and treasuries.

The arrangers were Casa de Bolsa BBVA Bancomer, SA de CV, Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer and Casa de Bolsa Santander, SA de CV and Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico.

Bladex is a multinational bank with headquarters in Panama and offices in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the United States and a representative license in Peru.
