Waterbury, Conn., defeases 2004 B G.O. tax revenue refunding bonds

Kansas City, Kan., June 26 - City of Waterbury, Conn., defeased its series 2004 B special capital reserve fund general obligation tax revenue intercept refunding bonds, according to a notice.

The following bonds are affected:

• $5.22 million of 5% bonds due April 1, 2013;

• $5.15 million of 5% bonds due April 1, 2014;

• $50,000 of 3.5% bonds due April 1, 2014;

• $5,185,000 of 5% bonds due April 1, 2015;

• $5,035,000 of 5% bonds due April 1, 2016; and

• $4,225,000 of 5% bonds due April 1, 2017.

The notes due in the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 will be redeemed April 1, 2014 at par.
