California Pollution Control calls solid waste disposal revenue bonds

Norfolk, Va., June 1 – The California Pollution Control Financing Authority plans to redeem its series 2002B, 2005A and 2005B solid waste disposal revenue bonds issued for the Waste Management, Inc. project, according to two notices.

The following will be redeemed on July 1:

• $38,435,000 of 5% 2002B bonds due July 1, 2027, to be redeemed at 101;

• $50 million of 0.37% 2005A bonds due April 1, 2025, to be redeemed at par; and

• $50 million of 5.4% 2005B bonds due April 1, 2025, to be redeemed at 101.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee for the 2002B bonds and Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. is the trustee for the 2005 bonds.
