S&P assigns A- to Waste Management notes

Standard & Poor's said it assigned Waste Management Inc.'s proposed $350 million senior unsecured notes due 2024 an A- issue-level rating.

Waste Management plans to use the proceeds from the notes issuance to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility.

All other ratings on Waste Management are unchanged, including the A- long-term corporate credit rating. The outlook remains stable.
