Fitch rates Waste Connections notes BBB+

Fitch Ratings said it rated Waste Connections, Inc.’s upcoming offering of $400 million of senior unsecured notes due 2032 due BBB+.

“Fitch's ratings on the notes reflect the expectation that proceeds will be used to pay down borrowings under its revolving credit facility. The transaction is leverage neutral from YE2021 when debt/EBITDA was 2.6x,” the agency said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
