Moody's rates Washoe County School District, Nev., bonds Aa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating to the Washoe County School District, Nev.'s $55 million of general obligation (limited tax) school improvement bonds, series 2008A.

At the same time, Moody's said it also affirmed the Aa3 rating on the district's $468 million of outstanding limited tax G.O. bonds and the A1 rating on the district's $7.5 million of certificates of participation, series 2002.

The outlook is stable.

Sale of the 2008A bonds is expected on March 5.
