Washington authority defeases some Seattle Children's Hospital bonds

Kansas City, Kan., June 25 - Washington Health Care Facilities Authority has defeased its series 2009 Seattle Children's Hospital revenue bonds due Oct. 1 of the years 2024, 2029 and 2034, according to a notice.

The following bonds are affected:

• $5.96 million 5.125% bonds due Oct. 1, 2024;

• $7.77 million 5.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2029; and

• $13,565,000 5.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2034.

The bonds will be redeemed Oct. 1, 2014 at par plus accrued interest.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee.
