New Issue: Washington state sells $64.04 million certificates of participation

New York, Aug. 12 – The State of Washington sold $64,035,000 of series 2014B certificates of participation, according to a pricing sheet.

The certificates (Aa2) were sold competitively. The issuer did not respond to requests for the winning bidder by press time Tuesday.

The COPs are due 2015 to 2034 with 3% to 5% coupons and 0.14% to 3.66% yields.

Proceeds will be used to acquire, construct and remodel five properties for state and local agencies.
