S&P puts Disney on negative watch

S&P said it placed all of its ratings, including the A issuer credit and issue-level ratings, and the A-1 short-term and commercial paper ratings on Walt Disney Co. on CreditWatch with negative implications.

“The CreditWatch placement reflects our concern that it will take considerably longer for Disney's theme parks business to return to 2019 levels, delaying the company's ability to return leverage to under 2.5x as previously expected,” S&P said in a news release.
