S&P rates Walker & Dunlop loan BBB-

S&P said it rated Walker & Dunlop Inc.’s planned $600 million term loan BBB-. The loan’s recovery rating is 1.

The company plans to use the loan to refinance its term loan B due 2025, also rated BBB- with a 1 recovery rating, and fund its acquisition of Alliant Capital Ltd.

Concurrently, the agency affirmed Walker & Dunlop’s BB issuer rating.

The outlook is stable.
