RBC redeems $765,500 trigger phoenix autocallables tied to Walgreen

Madison, Wis., Dec. 29 - Royal Bank of Canada said it redeemed its $765,500 of outstanding trigger phoenix autocallable optimization securities due Sept. 28, 2012 linked to the common stock of Walgreen Co. on Dec. 28.
The notes (Cusip: 78010W8220) were redeemed at par.
The Bank of New York Mellon was the redemption agent.
