Moody's assigns enhanced Aaa to Waco school bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned $134.655 million in series 2008 unlimited-tax school building and refunding bonds issued by Waco Independent School District an Aaa enhanced rating, reflecting the guarantee of the Texas Permanent School Fund.

The sale date was May 28.

Moody's affirmed its Aaa enhanced rating on the district's existing debt and its underlying issuer rating of A1.
