New Issue: Wachovia prices $4.52 million notes linked to a global equity basket
New York, May 2 - Wachovia Corp. issued $4.52 million of notes in the Astros (Asset Return Obligation Securities) structure linked to a global equity basket.
The payout at maturity is par plus the return on a basket of three indexes. Investors will receive a minimum of par. The basket is made up of the S&P 500, the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 and the Amex Hong Kong 30, each equally weighted.
Wachovia Securities was underwriter for the deal.
