Brazil-based BicBanco's five-year notes whispered in the high 5% area

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, Oct. 15 - The five-year senior notes planned by Brazil's Banco Industrial e Comercial SA (BicBanco) are being whispered to yield in the high 5% area, a market source said.

The deal is expected to total about $300 million.

Citigroup, Itau and JPMorgan are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction, which will be marketed on a roadshow in London and New York on Monday and Tuesday.

BicBanco is a Sao Paulo-based lender.
