New Issue: Volusia County School Board, Fla., sells $53.17 million certificates

New York, Jan. 8 – The Volusia County School Board of Florida priced $53.17 million of series 2016A master lease refunding certificates of participation, according to a pricing sheet. The offering was downsized from $75.45 million.
The certificates (Aa3//A+) were sold through Raymond James/Morgan Keegan.
The COPs are due 2018 to 2032 with 3% to 5% coupons.
Proceeds will be used to refund the board’s series 2007 COPs.
