Banco Hipotecario buys back $8.1 million notes due 2013

Pittsburgh, Oct. 12 - Banco Hipotecario SA bought back $8.1 million of its long-term dollar-denominated notes due 2013, according to a company news release.

Banco Hipotecario originally issued $1.2 billion notes under its note program that also included euro-denominated long-term notes due 2013 and dollar-denominated long-term notes due 2010.

Following the buyback, the company has $347.39 million of the notes due 2013 outstanding, $252.2 million of the euro-denominated notes and $59.89 million of the notes due 2010.

Banco Hipotecario is a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based bank.
