Visteon asks court to approve $17 million sale of two facilities

Charlotte, N.C., March 23 - Visteon Corp. is requesting approval to sell its Highland Park, Mich., and Saltillo, Mexico, facilities to Johnson Controls Interiors LLC and to Johnson Controls Automotriz Mexico, S. de RL de CV for $17,086,475 plus the assumption of liabilities, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

A hearing is scheduled for April 13.

Visteon, a Van Buren Township, Mich., global automotive supplier, filed for bankruptcy on May 28, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-11786.
