Pardus continues to build stake in Visteon

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 8 - Pardus Capital Management LP bought an additional 2 million shares of Visteon Corp. between July 27 and Aug. 6, priced from $6.14 to $6.59 each.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Pardus owns 29 million shares, or 22.4%, of the Van Buren Township, Mich., automotive systems and technology supply company.

On July 27, Pardus owned 27 million shares, or 20.8%, of Visteon. Pardus had an 18.13% stake in the company on June 12.
