Virtus global multi-sector fund changes name, sets pricing for offer

Chicago, Jan. 27 - Virtus Global Multi-Sector Income Fund changed its name from Virtus-Newfleet Global Multi-Sector Income Fund, according to an N-2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund will sell 250,000 shares at $20 each and use the $5 million of proceeds for investment purposes.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and UBS Securities LLC are representatives for a group of underwriters that also includes RBC Capital Markets, LLC; BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, LLC; Chardan Capital Markets, LLC; J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC; Janney Montgomery Scott LLC; Knight Capital Americas, LP; Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc.; Maxim Group LLC; Wedbush Securities Inc.; and Wunderlich Securities, Inc.

The fund is managed by Virtus Investment Advisers, Inc., which is based in Hartford.
