S&P rates Virginia Resources bonds AAA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AAA rating to Virginia Resources Authority's $50.075 million in series 2008A senior-lien infrastructure revenue bonds.

S&P also gave an AA rating to the authority's $22.845 million series 2008A subordinate-lien pooled loan fund bonds, based on the commonwealth of Virginia's moral obligation pledge.
